There is no such thing as the perfect father. Working rubbish jobs to make sure we had clothes on our back and pressies on birthdays and at christmas. Getting me up at silly o'clock to go fishing, swearing when I got in a tangle! Taking us the club, getting drunk and getting in trouble with Mum. Loving the grandchildren all the same. Having no patience at all. Always taking an interest in Karens, Michelles, mine and Marks life. Being our dad. There is no such thing as a perfect dad, and for that you were perfect.
